7 goals down,
a lot to go for so pressure on,but the celts might drop points too??
i'd be surprised if celtic throw it now, they have worked hard to get back in.
In they have got and 3 more points should seal it,like a big shiney floor.lol.
I don't follow the footie so much now but like to see the scores etc, great to see how well the big local teams do in europe,UTD,Chelsea,Arsenal,The pool and celtic and the gers,

Drew don't won't to get into a slagging match but both sets off fans have true supporters and they have the idiots that follow them too. Both sets off fans have been in trouble before. Neither team is whiter than white, it's just this time it was the idiots wearing blue that caused it this time. And yes there was english fans there, was speaking to a few Chelsea fans who had come up to see the game.

Rubbish.
Celtic fans have followed their team all over England without any prob;ems for decades.
Every year we play preseason friendlies and testimonials simply because we can go in huge numbers without any trouble.

If anything these events will only enhance that reputation, because it will show, once and for all to the English, that we are not merely different sides of the same coin.
In fact it will show Celtic are not even the same currency as them.

I take it you are talking about Celtic fans being ambushed on the way to the game?
I was handbags at dawn compared to the ****e that happened in Manchester.
And I don't remember seeing crowds of Celtic fans EVER attacking helpless coppers. Can you?

If you want an unbiased few of Rangers fans, look up what your own manager said about them after the 1972 ECWC final. He summed it up perfectly.

Bloody hell gone a tad far this post.

Some Rangers fans kicked off, whoopie bloody doo.

My local streets were covered in **** and trash after nigh on 150000 fans visited, whoopie bloody doo.

Think we will get over it, some total idiots attacked a policeman which is totally unacceptable, sure 99.9% of Rangers fans condemn it.

Wife works in a cafe, day after the game 12 lads who came in the place each day (from the Monday onwards) for a breakfast handed over an envelope with a £100 tip for the staff to say thanks for looking after them. Can't tarnish everyone with the same brush.

Aye, that is me. :whatchutalkingabout

I take it you cannae find Mr Waddell's opinion of the fans that rioted after the 1972 final then?

It is to these tikes, hooligans, louts and drunkards that I pinpoint my message – it is because of your gutter-rat behaviour that we [Rangers FC] are being publicly tarred and feathered . . .

He then quit as manager to go upstairs.

BTW, I am not tarring every rangers fan with the same brush.
I have family and friends who are Rangers Fans, and as Saltire says, they good Fans, and great peolpe, at that.

This was about the way that Celtic and Rangers are always wrongly lumped together.
And the way that many Rangers fans, and the Scot's Media, tried to shift the blame instead admitting that those who rioted were Rangers fans and were an embarrassment.
Just like Mr Waddell did 36 years ago.
