Discuss how did people tile 100,s of years ago?..they still seem to be in place..amazing.. in the UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.
Pin hammer and tungsten tipped chisel, that was the way I first cut floor tiles. Not hundreds of years ago though:lol: can still do it
interesting comments! ty!..ive always admired tiling, and how amazingly effective they are as an art form in themselves...Most of the cathedrals etc...stately building and also the intricate detailed designs of the middle east...its like a decorative armour! that u can piece together...Not sure if you can tell, but im getting sucked into tiling more and more!im fascinated by it..
my point is those tiles are still intact!...ive been to rome and seen the stone/slabs pavers marble etc....and they still look amazing!...bit like cave paintings!they havent peeled.!
