how do i get work ?

Hi all , i completed a course at northeast tiling training in the summer 07 , i have recently moved in the north east and now want to start my own tiling business, but being new too the area i just wondered if any one has any ideas on how to begin.. any advice would be appreciated .. thanks kenny

Bit confused Mate as to why you're asking how to find work?? I'm sure from their Website that this is covered??? & if not there's plenty on here for Marketing Ideas...

Wondering as trying to cover all bases on course info

some times we all ask the same questions over and over again nothing to be confused over if a user is new to the forum and does not know his or her way round easier to ask. i personally encorage any one to ask questions on the form as it helps others who may be hesitant to start posts good man kenny and welcome to the forum

cheers 2 u all, i sort of know already... just thought someone would have a great idea other than the usual marketing schemes
ie paper advert... cards in tile shops.. word of mouth etc..etc..
its just that i have moved up to durham recently and want to continue tiling up here.. rather than get a 9 - 5 job ... you know .. just that things are going slow and i really need to get things moving faster thats all ..

chrck out local conservatory shops,kitchen and bathroom shops and you might get some work that way,welcome to the forums btw.

hi, yeah ive had 2 bathrooms this week .. 1 was a complete nightmare!! lol... think the guy who built the house only had 1 eye !! as all the walls were pi**ed..
the other was a spalsh back 3m sweet job....

came from the local rag..
