Multi traders cut laminate counter tops without chipping the laminate please ? i have got one at home to cut down lengthways and width ways to , i know you can get jigsaw blades that only cut one way but i think this will be crap for the whole length ?

Circular saw, good blade and cut it from the back .
I think, i aint a multi trader

for a good finish you need a good router buddy , you can do it with a circular saw just turn it over so the good side is down and tape where the saw will exit underneath

Do you still tape-it , and cut from the back with a router prc ? i have a great dewalt router Big-one......

No router should be good to go if you have a good bit I would do it about 3 to four hits go down about 10mm each time

And always go left to right clamp a guide down using a batton if you havn't got a guide rail

In what situation are you cutting the length down? are you scribing to the wall? or will the cut edge be visable and you'll edge it after?

thats great blade. quiter than original that came with saw. less friction no burning even in oak wotktops. got 2 1 for rough cuts other for worktops furniture boards etc.

She is on about not letting me do it now ! lol as its the last of the counter top for sale , we want two tops about three hundred wide bought one with two round edges down each length .

Why not just tape and cut with a handsaw? More control.
