How does your van cope in the snow?

just been googling it Dan, and apparently it's standard with santander if you deposit a cheque over 10k, they say it's added security to stop money laundering. Why the hell they didn't tell me that when I phoned on friday to ask if funds would deffo be cleared I don't know.

I'm with them Doug and they do it all the time. They're aloud to take up to 14 days, and only clear it earlier at their own discretion.

Maybe they logged that call and you can get them to see that? If they can see you were told it'd be clear then you have a leg to stand on so to speak.

Might not be worth the hassle. It's only a few days time but if you have the time I'd at least send a snotty letter.

calmed down tbh Dan, at least the vendor was present when I was talking to them after my card was declined so he knows I'm on the straight. Couple more days aint really worth the hassle.

Back on thread.......When I can get my FWD Transit Connect to start in the cold it will go anywhere, fully loaded or otherwise. I'm having to park it "face to face" with the wifes car at the moment so that I can start it with the jump leads of a morning
