2006 transit got 110,000 on the clock good internals but the dreaded rust is kicking in already

I've seen older Transits like Y reg and there as clean as a whistle....

Its all about how they are looked after, keep them clean, especially in the winter, and they'll last longer.

i know beam, i thought it was pretty early as well i did sort some of it but its returning

first transit mark, like the vans but am put off by the amount of rust they seem to get assoppose to ther vans as you say

not sure if living coastal makes rust appear faster than norm salt etc?

Could be with all the salts but I've seen some real mingers near me and I'm nowhere near the coast....
