£1.42 here, well where I have my fuel account it is. Way too much, I blame the Govt. if they reduced the duty on it people would buy more!

Think its about to go up but unleaded $ 1.49==in pounds 1.01

diesel aus $ 1.60=in pounds 1.08

Nope, not only in Ireland. Todays rip off is £1.70 for super unleaded, £1.48 for Deisel, £1.59 for unleaded. Considering I live in the richest country in the world due to Oil, which makes the stuff, something is very wrong.... Base rate for tax is 38% and V.A.T is 25%, someone's taking the p.....

I am registered on Petrolprices.com and get a weekly update of fuel prices in my area.
You can nominate various postal codes within 20/30 miles of your home. Asda at
Chandlers Ford, Near Eastleigh. Hampshire, are usually the cheapest, although not
the closest for me. Usually do my shopping and other business and fill up my car
at the same time.
