I would charge £25 per metre plus £10 per socket and £30 per window plus materials. thats how i do it.

Im starting a kitchen splashback and chimney insert tomorrow, around 3 sqm and I charging £227 inc mats, 10x10 tiles, 4 sockets and into a window.

There again, it's probably nearer 2.5 sqm, and I'll most probably get the customers mums full bathroom and kitchen to do out of it.

Gota speculate to acumilate 🙂

So you think i could get nearer the £300 mark for it?
Already done the blokes bathroom last month and he was well happy with it although i badly underpriced

Well, maybe yeah, possibly somewhere around the £330 mark.

This splashback is just a nice 2 day filler for me, and I have only just started out myself so Im kind of working on the cheeper side a bit, but there again, I would guess at my current speed I will tile the whole thing in approx 6 to 7 hours, then grouting and cleaning 2 to 2 and a half hours, so I could always do it in a day if I get stuck into it.

Also £200 divided into sqm of this job is still £66.66 per square meter, so I can't complain, and it will most probably get me 2 big jobs on top of that too.

Been lucky (well depends how you look at it) up to now with the jobs i have got. Only been going full time a month or so but have done most aspects:

En suite, large tiles with travertine mosaic border
Kitchen, floor to ceiling
Dining room floor, porcalins in a diamond pattern
Kitchen splashback

so not done bad been really varied.

As for sense of humor Gaz i needed it last week. Doing a kitchen for a couple in about there middle 50s, wife kept fliting with me all day making stupid comments and jokes. Had a look and thought "mmm she isn't bad, cracking body for her age" may be 20 odd years older than me but hey. Cringed 10 minutes later when i heard her shouting her husband "John i don't think this earing aid is working like it should"
Chuckled and carried on tiling 🙂

Fekin, if tiling ceramics, always leave to cure overnight and go back next day to grout up,otherwise you are asking for trouble mate.
