I agree with some other comments, shocking tiling, grout joints are inconsistent, that slither looks awful. Heart or not if this guy is getting paid for this quality of work he should be ashamed and you should tell him so. He will just keep on doing it otherwise....

to be honest if your happy with that finish then I would leave it as it is, cant see how he's going to cut up to the door frame without damaging it, only way to do it right is to rip up the tiles and replace them, but that could wreck the ufh....having said that, it's his problem not yours, he should have done it right in the first place or left it well alone..

Yep, as Andy said, replace the tiles, I would be concerned about him having a go at the edge of those tiles, he's likely to chip them and make it worse, replacement really is the only option, if he's careful he should be able to knock those gently out without damaging the ufh, because looking at that, he probably hasn't fixed them properly anyways. If and when he does it, tell him NOT to grout in the edges, it is an expansion joint and should have silicon or mastic in there to allow movement, after a few months grout will crack out and look even worse than it already does, and if he actually bothers to undercut the doorstops he might be able to cut that sliver wider and therefore not snap it so that the cut tile is all one piece. You can probably tell this sort of thing really winds me up.
