That one was absolutely hammered by the critics for being too sentimental ......I thought it was the best he's done. Critics huh!!

I hated the old ones when I was a kid .....too upsetting. Even now I can't watch them. I was working in a house before Christmas and I could hear the tv through the house when an old Lassie movie was on .....I could feel myself welling up :bigcry: :lol:

I'm sure I'm not the only one who, as a kid, wasn't that bothered when people were killed in movies but as soon as an animal got it in the neck or was harmed I was a wreck. Those ones should carry warnings :lol:

Ring of Bright Water springs to mind. Lady and the Tramp when the bloodhound was flattened scarred me for life.

Apparently in Gladiator the battle scene at the beginning was edited because the dog met a gorey end. You may have noticed it just seems to disappear without explanation. People don't mind hundreds of people being hacked to death but if a dog gets it......horror!

for the second time yesterday I managed to fall asleep watching a film, first time was at the cinema when we took the boys to watch Megamind and Gabriel woke me up to say I was snoring:yikes: will have to put on the last half hour of Legend to catch the end of it later
