I feel guilty...

My wife has been in hospital for a month, and its been really hard work juggling work, getting kids ready for school etc and going to the hospital everyday. Hopefully she will be home next week and we can start getting life back to normal... I went to the pub tonight with the kids and my wife's parents and her brother and his family for a meal...Now im feeling guilty knowing she is sat in hospital while we are out enjoying ourselves

Listen mate, that's all more than I can do and you're not much good to her or the kids if you're down as well. We all need a break so enjoy it when you get it.....ok?

Awh, Andrew, don't!!! Your wife would hate that! Nobody gets better by their loved ones being miserable, tell your wife all about it, she will want to hear normal life stuff and tell her how much everyone missed her and how good it will be when she's back home again. Really. Chin up and be glad your kids had a nice time, too! :daisy:

Nothing to feel guilty about Endo...............we ALL need a break now and then, whatever the circumstances.

She'll be home soon.

I agree with all of the above comments - there is nothing to feel guilty about - Your wife will I am sure understand and don't forget the effect all of this would have on the kids...they need some quality time with their dad as well. Don;t feel guilty - think of it as recharging. Hope your wife is getting well and will be back in form soon.

Don't beat yourself up about it, you've not anything wrong, if anything you've gone the extra mile looking after everything while your good lady is in hospital.
