I used there inserlation boards on ufh job and while I was fixing them I thought they would be great for bringing up a level. but for some reason I cant help but think this is wrong. why is that?

Am I becoming a tiler?lol

if had a 3m x 3m room to bring up approx 45mm

with slc it was going to cost around £650 plus a hard morning mixing with insulation boards £ 300 and job done

Backer boards or insulation boards Dean. Much quicker option for you rather than SLC
