If I had the choice, Id like to work with Ed (Aston) because I think we have the same approach to our work. Merlecollins, the man makes me laugh and seems to take as much pride in what he does as myself. To be honest it would be an honour to work with any of the elite guys, I think we could all learn at least a little bit from each other... Not to mention that I have worked with some total monkeys over the years and it would be a treat to work with sombody who knows what they are on about...

who would it be......................????

My choice would be along these lines

Gooner........I think he thinks like me, plus i would like to learn more about swimming pool tiling

Ed. (Aston) To meet up again and talk about the past.

Dave Howe..... Because he knows so much, plus he is in Geordie land and that means a good pint

TJ. His work fascinates me, same for Phil Hobson

Hillhead. I want to do a stair case like he did

Swe. Just to pick his brain.

Sir ramic. To have a conversation with him (and a pint)

Grumps.... Because I picture him as a grandad figure ( plus he is good with figures)

Rob Z Just to see the different ways of working

Liz. Do I really have to say..........

Giesla...... A true perfectionist.

Doug (bomber) because he must have the best scenery for working.

Brian C.. because he is in Glasgow where I am from.

Whitebeam. He always seems like an expert to me.

Enduro. Because he lives on a big farm type thingy, with lots of tools and vehicles

Mikethetile, new on the elite but seems to be an old dab hand

Merle..Does he look like that??

I know I have missed loads off guys but I am tired so I will add tomorrow.

:lol::lol: So funny as most people who know me say i am very quiet....In fact recently i was recommended to do a job by the local tile shop and they said. " It will be like working with a ghost cos you wont know he is there but the job will get done":lol::lol:
The pint ?....That i could do.

Time's Ran Out

Nobody take this the wrong way..

For me it has to be TJ.. i have done quite a few vicky floors but to do one from memory is a skill..

TJ.. respect my man..

Dave you are making me feel very humble!
I think that along with most of the tilers on here we would jump at the chance of working with you.
I realise that this is an interesting thread and although it can diminish some of the mystique by getting close to other members, there may be a time that a strong group of likeminded people (tilers) can work for the development of their own business and the trade in general.

i would work with anybody on here and i mean that but they would have to have just 2 things in common with me.....

they would love learning and improving
they would enjoy seeing other people improve too!

thats it, so if thats you, i wanna work with you

ed

Same for me, I just wish I knew you guys when I ran a team of tilers. I used to struggle to get top tilers. With the talent on here we could form a world beating gang.:drool5: That would be awesome:thumbsup:
