i dont know much about u value, but what i do know is the boards from uheat met spec for a polyplumb waterbased underfloor heating install, infact the rep wanted to know where i got these boards!
there u value equivilent was 50mm thick the ekoboard was 10mm..
in essence horses for courses, and as usual i have piccy or two.
Before:
i want a bigger discount Uheat for this reccomendation!:lol:
and after:
so, non reinforced boards 10mm thick easier to cut than
cement faced/backed..better u value than the appropiate equivilent and around a fiver a board!
that said, personally i would not use them with electric ufloor, i like the
cement face, i installed 60mm of sand and
cement screed on to these boards, so no problems!
