I never let any one tank my jobs its the tilers job because if it leaks the tiler gets the blame.
the plumber can fit the shower tray as above then leave the tanking to me.

what would you use to tank out the above.
I would use shulter ditra to tank the floor and schulter kerdi to tank the walls.

So all these years I have been overlaying bouncy floors with 6mm ply, and tiling directly to plasterboard using tubbed adhesive, have I been doing something wrong?
