Interior wall construction

So should I ......

replace the section (about 1/2 M2),
or skim over with plaster the brown paper,
or ignore and just tile over?

we cant advise without some idea of the condition of the surface, pics would be good

The channel in the wall is elsewhere in the property but to show the construction of the walls.

i take it the paper is the plasterboard paper ? if so i would prime and tile as normal not a lot of weight in tiles 400 high
