Evening to you all,

I'm new to the forum and hope to gain pertinant guidance/advice over the coming years. I've served many years in the forces and am now leaving to embark on a 'second career' that will and is already incorporating tiling. I have completed a couple of courses (which is a starting point only). I've been reading your threads over a period of time and think its a fantastic facility that you have here with all the sound guidance that is provided. With luck I won't be asking too many stupid questions but if I do stay patient :)

All the best

Agreed, but in this day and age its difficult to get a tiler that is willing to supply on site experience (understandably, as time is money). Believe me I'm not one for bodging and would appreciate the chance. But will practise on my house first as I'm currently completing a total refurb at the moment. Don't want to do anything that would give me or the trade a bad name.

We're abouts are you mate maybe someone on the site could let you tag along for experience. Your on the best furom to get advise before you start anything anyway. But times are hard for everyone and work has slowed down for everyone so good luck anyway

I'm in Hampshire (Fleet), agree with you times are hard.
