Discuss Is creating a wetroom a tilers or plumbers job? in the Canada Tile Advice area at TilersForums.com.

I don't get your reply . You tank a whole room it looks better than blotches of tanking and you also make sure you don't miss anything .
I meant by tanking the kit you put onto the wall , mapei, ardex etc...I don't like these products. I prefer using wediboards

Check this tiler out.
How he treat some the jackoboard with his tiles on the floor and the waste :))

The old green star brigade. Says it all! Probably punctured that tray with standing on chippings and cuttings! Waste will be full of adhesive and chippings

Still got to joint it and waterproof screws that's what the paint on is for . But I think you covered that somewhere . Also I never said I waterproofing plasterboard.

It definitely takes longer due to jointing boards, jointing all gaps, screws etc, but in the end the result is much better.

Not many people know what there on about, especially bathroom shops and there fitters, and it often comes down to money.
You're not wrong after they've sold impey deck and membrane , duravit sanitary ware . Geberit wall hung toilet frame , and Hansgrohe taps there is not much left to do tiling properly
