I've been so busy lately that I forgot to MOT my van back in October, I went to tax it this morning and realised I'd been driving round with no MOT for the last 5 months!

oh right when you said previously you were laid up on your sofa thought you were nursing an injury lol,so you have little ones that arent at school yet? my missus and son had to move out when i done my place,i had to rough it lol,nice one anyway scott.sounds like a few of you have been similar to me workwise,its been a little bit bitty and others are good as normal,so the world hasnt stopped lol,just wondering if any of yous have marketing stratergies,paid adverts,unpaid adverts,internet and other?blimey bob made the same mistake,but not for that length of time,could of been a costly penalty pointing memory lapse lol.

i was really busy a couple of years back that i put 2 mot's on my van! when the tax was due i found the old mot cert (3 months out of date) so i hurriedly booked it in . i'd forgot i'd done it at the due date. when i sold it a few months later i found both certs. i could have kicked myself. :mad2::mad2:

made a good contact last week. He dropped in to see what was going on (I was working for the kitchen people) and asked how his business worked with all of the trades. Bingo. Seen and booked two more direct for him. Networking. You know if makes sense.

Work is very patchy for me at the moment. Moved to Nottingham about seven months ago from Berkshire to be near friends and family again. Usually booked up for 2 or 3 months... more like 1 week now! Just hope it picks up before the missus starts moaning!!! lol.
