hi villian

dave is or was selling a rubi wet cutter, pm him and see if its still for sale?

i pm'd him bud but i live too far away and it was a bit too expensive for me at the mo, im lookin on one for about 100 if possible till i get on my feet. im workin for next to nothing at the minute for the experience while at college so a bit skint:lol:

When I was an apprentice the wetsaw in the first post was the first one I bought, although it was £40 back then. Done me fine for a year or so, does the job.

However, have a look in B&Q in the next few days and see if they're still selling the Vitrex Versatile Pro 750 watt saw. Much better machine and you should get it for £70 while their sale/clearance is on.

EDIT: ie the same saw as you've pictured above.

Plasplug may seem diy, but last year my Rubi packed in. I bought a Plasplug master tiler to tide me over, got to say , I was very impressed. 180mm blade, try the glass blade. For a cheap machine it is pretty good. The glass blade sails through porcelain. I have seen the B&Q new range. It looks similar to Plasplugs.

I've a plastplugs compact about £40 about 6 years ago and I love it.

I only use my rubi ND180 for thick porc coz the plastplugs does the job on ceramics and is easyer to clean.
