Far as I know Lithium general purpose grease is synthetic.

I should have said oil based. You'd be surprised how many rubber products are affected by normal grease.

Well so far it’s increaed their efficiency considerably.
The instructions say ‘oil’ it, but what I cleaned off from new certainly wasn’t oil.
I will keep a close watch on it tho.

I already tried with a toothbrush
of the horse. 🙂
but with this climate and h40 nolimits you have to clean it every bucket
of adhesive. as you know I consume a lot of adhesive 🙂.
I try it if it shortens the time ok, otherwise I sell it. 😉
