When are you chaps using cordless, purely when there’s no power ?

Ease of use. No cables. Plus I find the Makita cordless grinders run smoother than the corded.
And yes, to a large degree I am working for a private customer the next couple of months, but the house is on a building site so I come under their rules - no 240v.
I could go and kit out for less with 110v but then I won't use it again.

I can’t understand why tradesmen buy 240v at all. 110v you can use on any job and if it’s that bad often enough with no power you’d have a generator anyway. Cordless tools are getting better and better every year, Metabo are now doing 8amp batteries. I wont be suprised when sites are cordless as a rule and we’re all geared up like F1 pit crew members with our helmets and fire suits on 😱

There’s sites here already on battery only Lee.
