job priced today

I priced a job today.
16m2 walls
4m2 floor
take out bathroom suit
replace bathroom suit
remove and replace radiator
screw down 4m2 ply
mosaics on bath wall
the rest of tiles are ceramic
I quoted £650 and thougt that it was a fair price,the customer said he was looking at £400 wich i thougt was unrelistic,any coments was i to deer.

You sound cheap cass, £400, he's having a laugh if he thinks that will cover the work

I forgot to mention all matrials were allready ther and all prep work done,for a quick guestamit what would you guys charged for that.

cass is the suite being replaced with a new suite and if not im assuming your leaving the bath in?

Yes bath will be getting left in ,we will be taking out old suit and replacing.

i would do the tiling alone for that price 650 labour and replacing suite extra mate the guys a chancer with his 400

I don't tile for a living but even I would charge more than £650 for that list.

The way i seen it was he wanted it done before christmas and i was happy enough to earn my self £650 for 3 and a halfs days work,the jobs are not as regular as i would lik them to be.but that being said ther is no way iwould do it for £400,i think he will be on phone again and i wont budge from £650,pricing is not my strongest poin tbut this part of the forum helps me to be more confident in that feild. Thanks for input guys.

If you are not working and they are supplying materials(plumbing materials aswell)then i would meet him in the middle....if he supplies ply ,screws,primer then its just your time.If you are just putting the wc and sink in place and they are supplying everything(flexi connectors,wc waste)then i would do it for the £525 ...no outlay to you!

I would really consider this again m8...only my opinion.
