After scouring this forum for hints, tips and asking a few questions of the professionals, I thought I'd post some pics of my efforts. One thing I've decided for sure; I am never... ever... laying 600x600 tiles again! Ever!!
Just for the record the tiles are from Messrs BnQ - I know.....! They actually come from Malasia not China.
I laid 6mm Ecoboard insulation using Ultra Proflex SP adhesive then laid the underfloor heating cable. I then poured the SLC to protect and reduce the amount of adhesive needed.
Then the tiles went down. I managed 8-10 a day. Once the utility was done I cut the sides of the central floor cabinet and slid it back in to allow replumbing. Mrs R had been without her washing machine for a week and it was a priority! Once in I was able to tile back into the kitchen.
Cabinet ends cut and replaced then the skirtings and kick boards.
I can't upload to the Gallery so pics are on my profile. Follow this link
