if you are a professional tiler who always does an excellent job then people will pay you, 3.2 mts in a kitchen is 320 tiles if they are 100mm x 100mm, windows and sockets slow things down, removing plinths under cupboards if fitted to get a proper finish and trimming take time, if you are charging less than £150 a day plus materials scottish tiler then you are too low, take out your van running costs, tax, overheads ( yes you have them too) and if your around £100 a day then your losing money because after expenses (not materials) you are earning about £75 - £80 a day...a decent tiler is worth more than that, just to comment on what fred said where can you go at 2.30 in the afternoon, i start work at 7.30 every day and most people do to, charge for the day fred not the hour, if your there at the house for two days its two days money................right, can someone pass me a ladder? i need to climb down off this soapbox and i'm only 4ft 2"

are you just tiling the walls in the kitchen, 3.2square meters ? 2 days? are you just a beginer and is there actualy ppl out there who would pay you 325 to tile 1 small kitchen, im not trying to be cheeky or anything but they must be mad
I have to say that I disagree. 320 essentially mosaic tiles on the diamond with alternating colours cutting round sockets and windows, along with the additional grouting time (and extra grout) takes longer than 3.2m2 of 200mmx200mm straight set, and should be priced accordingly.

I think people are happy to pay a good price for a good job. Maybe you are based in an area where there is a lot of competition and possibly would not be able to charge that much.
