Just read my mind..

I am after some new ones as my kness have been bad lately..

I am gunna give these a try..

Alpro Professional Knee Pads

Sorry about the recent price increase - this is due to the bad exchange rate between the Euro and Pound

Alpro knee pads have been designed specialy to prevent and heal knee problems. Ergonomically designed by a German knee surgon to distribute the pressure of your bodyweight.

These might seem expensive but they really do work. We have been suprised by how many people have told us these knee pads have stopped their knee pain.

Made from a strange synthetic foam which quickly molds to the shape of your knee. The square face stop the pads from rolling sideways. Elasticated velcro fix straps

Hi guys, bought the £13.00 Rubi knee pads, black with 2 raised nobbles on the front 2 stop your knees rolling sideways, 1 strap at the back which fits nicely into the back of your knee without discomfort, absolutely brilliant, and no knee pain even after grouting all day on travertine with rustic edges. Highly recommended kit!

I have got them as well as others....they are comfortable for long days wearing them.

And they roll over when twisting and turn on the floor.

The straps dig in the back of the legs...where as the alpro ones fast below on the calf i believe..?

My knees were swelling up and aches and pains when kneeling with some other pads, I've even got some gel pads in the van and only used a couple of times.

I did find my knees improved and did'nt get any problems with the swelling, don't get any pain either unless I am kneeling and forget to put them on.

I would definitly buy another pair when mine are worn out, but what works for one may not for another, I rate them highly and most comfortable pads I've ever worn IMO:thumbsup:

Never had a problem of the straps digging into the back of the knees

Serous guys I'm with doug, you cant beat snickers work trousers with the inserts for knees. You dont even realise their there.

I've had trouble with my knees since I was a youngster in the army spending alot of time in the kneeling position on tour. When I started tiling it got a whole lot worse. Until chris.tiling advised me to get snickers trousers and inserts. never had sore knees since!

Dean..i have used them...

You wait till you have done this alot of years...then say trouser pads...

It's all about joint pressure and not how soft they are to kneel on.

When you and Doug get a bit heavier then you may find the snickers can't take the weight on the knees:lol:
