Serous guys I'm with doug, you cant beat snickers work trousers with the inserts for knees. You dont even realise their there.

I've had trouble with my knees since I was a youngster in the army spending alot of time in the kneeling position on tour. When I started tiling it got a whole lot worse. Until chris.tiling advised me to get snickers trousers and inserts. never had sore knees since!

Dean..i have used them...

You wait till you have done this alot of years...then say trouser pads...

It's all about joint pressure and not how soft they are to kneel on.

When you and Doug get a bit heavier then you may find the snickers can't take the weight on the knees:lol:

I use the Alpro's, couldnt do without them, a bit bulky but with two knee ops on my right knee, one being a knee reconstruction they are the only thing that help. Very comfortable and dont have knee pains. Just back pains, hip pains and pains in the neck.....

i have been wearing my alpros for a couple of years now, great and i love them(don't tell my wife, lol)

hi dave

i first wore alpro's 3 years ago when working with a guy on this forum and they are brilliant..i got a pair from tt and they work by cushioning the side of you knee as you put pressure on when kneeling.

they are bulky compared to other brands but they dont feel it when they are on and the strap defo doesnt dig in, really soft and spongey too!

i have snickers with pads and they are fine for everyday use to take the edge off but on floors the alpros are the best by far imo.

Ed..

The Alpro pads are fantasic for comfort, they like unsightly and are a bit cumbersome but I'll take ugly over comfort any day.

I might have to try Alpro, Been happy with Rubi but after 43yrs on my knees, it can't hurt to try something new:thumbsup:

hi phil

you'll be good for another 43 yrs when you put the alpro's on mate..

regards

Heavier:yikes:

I'm already 16 stone.

But I don't disagree I know its about where the pressure is distributed I just find the inserts comptable.
