hi dave

i first wore alpro's 3 years ago when working with a guy on this forum and they are brilliant..i got a pair from tt and they work by cushioning the side of you knee as you put pressure on when kneeling.

they are bulky compared to other brands but they dont feel it when they are on and the strap defo doesnt dig in, really soft and spongey too!

i have snickers with pads and they are fine for everyday use to take the edge off but on floors the alpros are the best by far imo.

When you and Doug get a bit heavier then you may find the snickers can't take the weight on the knees:lol:
it's the bosch inserts and pants i use Mark, a lot comfier than snickers ones:thumbsup: but needing op number 7 on my left knee now, and the right knee is going the same way too:yikes:

hi all
i've tried umpteen different pads, as i have a dickie knee from old sports injury, and most have been useless, but i found a pair last year in a b&q discounted bin and they've been fantastic.
they're called vitrex gel g-shok knee pads, and i think they sell at about £20, but worth it.

Dean..i have used them...

You wait till you have done this alot of years...then say trouser pads...

It's all about joint pressure and not how soft they are to kneel on.

Dave

There are 3 different sets of knee pads for the Snickers Floorlayers Trousers the best ones are Silver & Black ones (they also happen to be the most expensive) they are almost like bean bags to kneel on they are Brilliant

Alpro Professional Knee Pads

Sorry about the recent price increase - this is due to the bad exchange rate between the Euro and Pound

Alpro knee pads have been designed specialy to prevent and heal knee problems. Ergonomically designed by a German knee surgon to distribute the pressure of your bodyweight.

These might seem expensive but they really do work. We have been suprised by how many people have told us these knee pads have stopped their knee pain.

Made from a strange synthetic foam which quickly molds to the shape of your knee. The square face stop the pads from rolling sideways. Elasticated velcro fix straps

The German knee surgeon was on a radio programme back in sept 09, he was talking about the foam he had invented, the test was a 20kg weight dropped onto his hand which was covered with a layer off this foam, he felt nothing? I have been looking for these for ages, are they as good as they state they are?
Prem, I use the knee pads in the trousers as well but will be ordering a pair of these to see if they are as good as they say they are.
