Large Floor - Advice on Expansion Joints needed

Expansion joints between wood and screed going right through the uncoupling membrane. I would not tile directly on to 18 mm ply, would rather walk away, seen to many failures over the years. But your choice.

not sure im reading this correctly - does this mean breaks in the uncoupling to house the expansion joints?

Thanks all. Looks like I won't be doing the job. The customer has had 2 large (over 100sqm) floors tiled before in different properties, none used uncoupling, both are still ok. Because of this I don't think he wants to use uncoupling.
Again, thanks for the advice though.
