Tonsoftiles

I am looking at having some slate layed in my back garden which is currently covered in pebbles/stones.

Underneath the pebbles is black lining and under that earth.

Can anyone suggest the best way to lay the slate, do the stones need to go or is there a product that can be used and the slate simply fixed on top?

Thanks in advance for anyones help??!!

Time's Ran Out

I would get someone in to do it for you!
1) stones and black liner have to go.
2) 150mm of hardcore.
3) 150mm of concrete ( take 4-6weeks to cure) + reinforcement if large area.
4) fix tiles with exterior adhesive

Unless you are talking about stepping stones - then do a tommy and plop them on a bed of dry sand/cement they may stay there for a couple of weeks.
Good luck!.
