well, about this time last year my so called partner /friend came to my house drunk and wanted to fight. luckily he was that drunk he ended up on the floor ,twice .i had supplied 80% of the work we did and transport and apparantly had dissed him. i still dont know what i did but doing fine so, as above forget him move on and good luck.

As others have said no point being angry and planning revenge. Perhaps give him the benefit of the doubt that there is something more to it that you are not aware of. Leave it behind and get on with your own life. If he comes to talk then listen it but don't get burned twice. If he does not then forget him and move on.

Chin up, move on.
It's not nice but it's life unfortunately.
Good luck with the lone ranger game if you go it.

You will be better of without a PASSANGER in the long run Rob.

Simmilar thing happened to me a few years back ended up knocking lumps out of each other over a trowel  His Mrs reckoned we where working to hard etc.......

He now no longer works in the trade & im as busy as ever, sure the same will happen to you & he will end up working in Tescos.

I seriously bear a grudge. I don't get mad, I get even.
Not the best advice, I know, but I understand your thoughts.

As everyone else has said, though, you sound better off without him.
Good luck for the future,

Daz

sounds like you're better off on your own rob, a blessing in disguise, just watch he doesn't try pinching your contacts. good luck on your own mate

from my experience theres normaly more to these situations than people let on, he might be getting earache from the wife for woking long hours/nights away, still dosn't excuse the way hes dumped you in it, but theses things happen.

ive been in a few partnerships, and had subbies working for me, but to be honest, ive never been happier than working on my own, every cloud has a silver lining, as the saying goes..

im starting a premier inn in malton on monday 40 rooms to do ,ive got a young lad to labour for me, will train him up if he is up to it
booked in for is cscs operative card test on monday evening he seems very keen , only 19 at does,nt drink, im sure i will sort that out

Does sound like you are better off on your Todd, its a difficult situation at the best of times. If he has pinched your contract then that is naughty but it is also business, it happens to the best of us. I have been on the other end of this a few times in the past and there is never a good time to walk, I just try to give us much notice as possible but it is not always possible to do that.

Just crack on with it and the chances are he will be on the phone in 6 months time asking for work!
