No, but I'd shell out on the Raymondi for those, cheap pliers don't last 5 minutesOkay I’ll have a look on THAT auction site is that with the pliers or not?

That’s what I’ve read on other threads, so I’m not willing to risk damaging the tiles when removing clipsBecause the clips are harder to remove if there tight in the joint, and more Chance of chipping a tile
I see your logic Sean but until I become more comfortable using levelling clips I’m going to opt for safe methodTommy is having a 3mm joint so why should he buy 1.5 or 2mm clips? Why not a 3mm clip?
Personally, I use 2mm clips on everything and space out with normal spacers if I require a 3mm joint. This just saves me on buying different sized clips for different grout sizes.

Yea......sort of!!! HahahaHaven't you just answered your own question? 😉
Thanks for your kind words Lee. I back butter like my life depends on it , I think I drive my boss mad with all the addy I use on certain jobs 😉. Are you calling me a granny 😀Tommy you say you’ve never laid a tile of this size, with that in mind I must stress to you the importance of good prep and and having a flat floor, also you need to make sure you back butter the tile (with a 4mm if needs be) to get full coverage. All trowelling on floor and tile must be in the shortest direction so the air escapes and let’s the notches collapse. Don’t mean to tell a granny how to suck eggs but I hope you get where I’m coming from 🙂
