Are you talking about the ones that are slightly fatter and have the groove things running the full length of the body? Glad you said that cos i have often wondered if they are any better. Cheers mate
They main thing with any level is calibrate it yourself though. Take it off the shelf and test it before you buy, this is the advantage of not buying via the net though.
Yep that's the one. Just pick one up, and you'll feel the difference in quality instantly! ;D
How can you calibrate it!?! You can test it, to make sure it's level, but I don't see how you can calibrate a level.. Although, I did hear a rumour that with some of the more expensive stabila's, they can be sent off, when they've gone out, to be re-calibrated..
after a recommendation from gary I got myself an ox (Y)
Yeah get a laser ....but make it a cheap one !
would i be better to invest in a lazer? i do already have some levels but there not the best just thinking about when i need all the grout joints to connect around a whole room. cheers
In my opinion mate, lasers are a handy bit of kit but i hardly ever use mine to be honest. Always prefer chalk lines on floors and bubbles on walls but then my pal who is a tiler too swears by it, personal taste. Not essential though bud
