hi guys / girls,

my name is steve, i have been a self employed mortgage advisor for the last 15 years, :mad2:

i turn 40 next month, and i am packing in the suites:hurray:

and going to get my hands dirty.

looking to book a 6 week course with chase tiling end of march so i can start my new career as a tiler, have been reading the forum for a few months so looking for plenty of guidance,

will keep you informed of my progression

they say life begins at 40 ???:thumbsup:

hi Reggie, I did the 2 week course as I couldnt get 6 weeks off work but at Chase they'll let you book the other 4 weeks anytime in the future which I'll need to do in order to get the NVQ. The people are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed but the actual course is intense. You'll be tiling and grouting on day 1, and the instructors are qualified tradesmen who have worked in tiling, plastering and plumbing for a living so they know their stuff. You should do alright there mate
