Hi, my first post.
I'm tiling a bathroom and I'm looking to waterproof around the bath/shower area.
When removing the old tiles, I found that water had got through to the plasterboard and render.
The silicon seal seemed to be intact.
(The wall is plasterboard on the internal wall and brick/render on the external)
I don't want this to happen again.
Is there a simple/low cost liquid membrane that I can paint/roll on and then tile over?
How long does it take to dry?
Where can I get it?
Or, is there any type of grout and adhesive that would make this unnessessary?
I'm looking to start a few projects, so may be on here regularly
Thanks.
