M2 per day?

Dont charge unrealistically......
you will be out of work...the dole cue is long...
if you can do a job in a day charge a days rate, if you run over....you only have yourself to blame and therfore should take it on the chin......
(be accurate on pricing)
on the upside if you do as i say and do it right..you get repeat work, and that is how you become sucessful.......p.s where is that ferrari dealership.........

On domestic work a m2 dos'nt come onto it, there's load's of consideration's to take into account, access to work area, sheeting up, lumbering your tool's into the job and cleaning up at the end of a day and the amount of excess cutting in a small room, believe me that's where the time is taken. Work to your own circumstances.

whitebeam, i agree.....if i had a (1m2) toilet to tile, and the customer wanted underfloor heating and the floor was not level....then

day 1
a= screed floor in fibreplan (skim 3mm ish drying time = 2 hours)
b= lay underfloor heating mat (1 hr)
c= screed over underfloor heating mat with fibreplan again until level (1hr)
d= go home..........4 hrs work 1 days pay.....
day 2 lay 1m2 of tiles with cuts......easy = 2 days money.....knowing the products

this job i would price @2 days day rate... i am not going to charge 1 days day rate for prep an then 1m2 rate for tiling.....i would lose out.....
