At a fiver a board you'd have to fit 40 boards in a day to get a couple of hundred quid and that's going some, I reckon maybe £7-8 a board. I always do day rate for that sort of thing though.

Ok cheers, unfortunately its one of them where its gotta be price, no day rate ont job.
I will bang £8 m2 on m2
Cheers chaps

yep, day rate for me too, don't forget to include screws, typically a hardiebacker 250 board will take 50 or so screws, it all adds up.

Day rate but if pricing per board then 5 quid is way too low, would need to be 8-10 for me.

I supply & fit Hardie 250 at £30 per board if its a smallish area (1/8m2) & drop that to £20 per board if its a good sized area.
Sounds expensive but in my area the only place you can purchase Hardie is Topps & we all know how much it costs in there.

Sorry Doug, I should have wrote that I get my Hardie from CTD.
If the customer goes & tries to buy Hardie then it's about a 95% chance they will only get it at Topps & when they see the price of them then they realise that I'm not that expensive.

40m2 here lads, nice big square room, only take me a day on my todd.
Then ive got another house with 5 bathrooms, so i'll charge a bit more for that
