Have you been on Contractors Direct?? http://www.cdeuro.com/Tile-Tools/Portable-Tabletop-Tile-Saws/SIRI-Briccolina-Tile-Wet-Saw
Not sure how the 2nd hole would effect the rotation of the blade??? Have a look at their blades - they only seem to have one hole: http://www.cdeuro.com/Tile-Tools/Diamond-Saw-Blade/Siri-Cersiri-Tile-Diamond-Blade so not too sure where the 2nd hole goes?
Bought a brilliant cutter the other day but am taking it back because you either need to wear speedos when taking the water reservoir out (if you're a one man band like I am) or you need to have a helper, which ain't no good to me being a one man band.
So am thinking of sodding it and getting the Briccolina until I can afford the Rubi 250 or 300.
If anyone has cut porcelain using the Briccolina let me know if you've had good experiences ASAP coz I need to get a wet cutter tomorrow??
Cheers in advance!!
Hi etc., I have a bricollina and up until my last 2 jobs, it cut everything I threw at it inlcuding big porcelian.. Next to last job was quarry tiles and it really struggled, last job was a Keope porcelain floor and it struggled with that too. SIRI do a specific blade for porcelain for the bricci, cost almost as much as the machine itself. I replaced my standard blade with a glass cutting blade hoping it would cut the keope tiles but it was having none of it. If you get the Bricci, buy the porcelain blade at the same time. It is a brilliant little cutter, just with the standard blade it struggled with these 2 jobs. I bought a DW 250N to finish my last job!! This cutter cuts sooooo much more quickly but it does have it's issues. If you want to follow that bit up, check out some of my previous posts to get my full opinion.
