No what you don't understand is that they are happy with the work that's why they let us grout it the following day after they had a full inspection on the tiled floor with the builder and then only complained a couple of days later because they don't want to pay for there bad choices of tiles it's an easy way out of not pay for something they have now changed their mind.
Don't worry your come across one of these people one day if you haven't already and your work can be prefect but a duff client who don't want to pay will always find something to complain about so they don't have to pay because they know most tradesman will not follow up a claim and that's a true fact.

I know what you're saying mate, but it's one of those situations where I need to have my moderating head on. There are a few posts that I'm going to edit, this thread is in the open forums and doesn't look very good to anyone viewing it.

I was going to get the rope out as per my last post but I see the only way round this Mr Crosby, is this. If your customer is just dodging the bill then offer to take the tiles up for free to save the next tiler the bother and charging him/her for the pleasure. That way you'll see whether he likes the tiles or not.

That they have now changed their mind on after these floor tiles were fitted so you would have not problem with this then you can work for me if you don't like paying at the end of a job and I make up some excuse on your work if that's ok you can start tomorrow if you want.
