Mapei Renovation Screed

A thank you and a heads up to anyone doing a similar task. Mapei renovation screed is top draw - whacked down 4 bags tonight and it's given me a lovely surface. Nice and easy to mix, apply and trowel out.

Thanks to everyone on here who has helped me out so far, just the tiling to do now! Which I'm most scared of

Shouldn't have to trowel renovation screed, it goes down sweet & a wee quick roll between pours & it's fine.

maybe be mine was a little thick - was like porridge / syrup. It need a bit of help into corners and after a roll it was fine.

Quick question -

it has dried two shades of grey, one dark and one a shade lighter. The light patches are generally closer to warm area such as fridge and freezer bases and the oven. Has the heat caused this?

I used this for the first time myself a couple of weeks ago, excellent stuff (I found I had to trowel it in a few places, in hindsight probably needed to use a little more water).

Primed with Eco Prim T a few hours prior to pouring.
