Mapei saves the day

Just been on putting up plastic cladding in my ensuite,same as in the utily room. Anyway tried using pink grip omg i'll never touch this stuff again won't stick to plasterbaord or plaster skim even when sealed tried pva and sbr to seal still no good ,using mapei tub stuff again works a treat.

pinkgrip comes in 2 flavours , solvent and solvent free , which did you use ??

Sticks like Sticky stuff is probably the best grab adhesive on the market

I know a fixer who did artex with BAL Grip and BAL Bond he said it would never ever crack.

Second that! I found sticks like Sticky stuff to be the best I have ever used

Yeah i used dispersion,used it before on my utility room. As for the pink grip can't say i noticed if it was solvent free or not. It stuck to the cladding ok but not the skim kept forming a skin on itself. Anyway 1 tub of adhesive is cheaper than 3 tubes of grip.
