Trying to find out if we can use this on a wood substrate (moisture resistant chipboard with marine ply on top). Is it flexible enough?

Yes it will be fine as long as the wood has no deflection.

Ultra colour plus is flexible to a point, it depends on the rigidity of your floor, no deflection (bounce)

thanks for that - it doesn't actually say so on the packaging - Mapei's website didn't shed any light either.

Also we have a strip of mosaic tiles running vertically on one of the walls in the shower - will the Ultracolour plus be OK to grout them as well as the 400 x 225 field tiles?
