March 2012, work update...

Good strong start to the year been chocka so much so ive hardly been on the forum lately and stacks coming up too

Been rammed since October. The start of this year has been manic,been starting early and leaving late. 6-7 days a week which has been fairly stressful at times.
Taken a few days off this week to get on top of stuff that needs doing round the house and work on my car. Booked up into May with just space for a few little jobs.

Im pretty quiet at the moment not much in the pipeline am having to network and market as much as possible had a job for a builder that kept me going through feb but thats it ........am pretty sure itll pick up tho just had to price 30-40 housing association houses fingers crossed for that :drool5:

2 day job if all goes well then of to farnham to do a mosaic floor
then back in london wardour st , to do anne summers store ,

Good January and February, but March has taken a tumble. I've got a few in the pipeline but nothing due to start until the week after next. I've spent the last week fencing in my vegetable patch and ticking off some of those "to do" list jobs

Been pretty much flat out doing 60-70 hours a week since the middle of January. Had an 8-4 week this week which I was over the moon about as it was starting to drive me mental leaving at 7am and coming home at 10pm. Still plenty coming in so as long as it keeps that way I'll be happy enough. Fell in with a plumber last month who will have a few bathrooms for me every month and another builder who has so far done 6 of 30 houses planned so going well. Loads of work out there at the minute it seems.

not bad slow steady stream of work, good job im a plasterer also, and im painting it after when i have to aswell

busy at the mo, cant work late cause of family commitments but could do every evening and weekends if things were different. i decorate and wallpaper too so its a mix, farming a bit out as well, cant complain,for all they say about bankers and their bonuses, some of it comes my way.:smilewinkgrin:

was there plastering a coffee shop in terminal 5 a couple of months ago, the health and safety blokes keen aint he lol, couldnt even go toilet without being supervised and all your tools gotta go through scanner every day .
