Massage

When on holiday recently I had a full body 90 minutes massage even my fingers and toes were done. It was painful some of the time but from the next day my shoulders and back in particular were much looser (never thought I could turn my head round as much), I'm sleeping much sounder and all round I feel more relaxed.

My wife tells me some of her colleagues' husbands who work in trades have one about once a month mainly to combat the aches and pains of manual work. I'm seriously considering the same.

Just wondering if anyone else has one regularly and what do they think?

i used to have a sport massage one a week in the rugby season and by eke it hurts but after a few weeks you feel a lot better and your joints etc recover from hits better the other day i tiled a fireplace and had to roll onto my back then onto my belly just to get up off the floor what a wreak

I went to a massage parlour when I was in my early 20s, it was on my doctors advise as I was suffering from back pain and headaches

problem is he didnt specify one, so I rang a number in a shop window

How naive we are in our youth. It would have been worse if you met your dad in there :lol:

Have a sports massage every month at my local gym....... works wonders on the back and legs. It's £40 a time and it goes through my books.

I have an osteopath.

Its like having a medical massage and they free up joints, loosen tendons, re-aline spines, straighten shoulders etc. Really good stuff and about £40 a pop aswell.

i use a chiropractor to sort my back out........i think if i told my mates i was going for a massage........well lets just say 20yr old thai girl would be springing into there minds.
