Mixers and mixing

I use a variable speed SDS drill and a large paddle and a flexi tub mixer for the adhesives.

For grout I use a bucket and bucket trowel. I prefer to mix the grout by hand so I can get the consistency just how I want it.
Same here

cheapy from screw fix 89.99 when my rubi basic line died , I used a plasteres mixing bucket just for the mixer to spin clean after each mix clean with a nylon brush if we are using rapid .

Like MArk Eibenstock 240v slow start, and the same in 110v , i still have some rafina black mixing tubs, but i like the 75 ltr gorilla tubs, usually no need for a sheet as we mix down in the pool, i have got a brand new one i found in a skip, and it runs great, not used it on a job -yet, i use the big bucket trowels with the square ends so as to get to the bottom of the bucket, i first brought them back from germany in the 70's LOL..........

Raining!!
So why are you on the forum at 5.45 English time.
You having an early night when the old guy is away? I knew you only worked 11 hour shifts when he was there to keep you on your toes.
Sun, sangria and coffee con leche is what it's all about here!

Ahh a nice bit of rain....remind you of home?hahaha. Early day for parents evening today. Have given up trying to keep up with the work load this week. Just too busy!! They'll all have to wait till I get to them. No rush is there

Just had my evening meal sitting on the bar with another coffee!
Thinking about those hard working lads back in Blighty!
And to think my boss has allowed me to be off for another week and he's just taking it all in his stride!

I have an Aldi special, nearly 2 years it's been going. It did pack up a couple of weeks ago but, a bit of fiddling and it's running again. I always mix in a gorilla bucket, half bag at a time. I have a water bucket that sits alongside that holds about 20 litres, I also use this bucket for cleaning the whisk and my trowels etc.

I use an evolution mixer , mix on a tarpaulin sheet , large bucket of water to whisk the paddle in after each mix! Do all my own mixing as I work by myself !

I picked up a Lidl paddle mixer a couple of weeks ago, for £40.

Before that, I was using an electric drill with a Faithful mixing whisk. I mix in a Gorilla tub with another gorilla tub full of water for cleaning the whisk and trowels.

I mix myself too, as I work on my own.
