Ditto Brian, mine start of as water buckets, become mixing buckets then wind up being rubbish buckets, I can get 40l ones for about £4.

although not free,you cant beat the gorilla tubs .

I agree that gorilla tubs are good, these are perfect for self leveller, just a bit deeper than gorilla tubs but narrower find it easier to get a good mix

i find the addy flicks out of gorilla tubs too easy so tend to use proper mixing buckets like benson ones
