Guys,
Some of you know I asked for recommendations on a replacement blade for my Dewalt 2400.
On popular opinion I splashed out and went for the Monolit 250mm.
Today I changed it out with the new Monolit and I am very disappointed.
My initials concerns before purchasing have come back to haunt me.
I was concerned about the split rim, but assured it does not chip as I have had better cuts with other blades on tools with continuous rims.
It chips porclano tiles :nono:
I tried many cuts on the same tiles I have been working and tried various changes but same chipping. I was going to add pics, but bit deflated, so trust me.
I am sure this will cut ceramics well and last ages, but ceramics are nothing like porcelano, sorry porcelain.
The continuous Dewalt blade cut these hard tiles better worn. When it was new it cut very very clean.
I will now look for a continuous rimmed blade for sure.
You win some and you lose some, cest la vie
