Mosaic vertical border

Morning guys,

Looking to put in a vertical mosaic border in my bathroom and was wondering if I can butt the mosaic up against the adjacent tiles or do I need to leave grout lines each side (thought it looked better just butted together).
Tiles are same thickness with no listello strips going in.

Leave and 1mm or 2mm grout line for expansion. what is the size of the mosaic ?

Id do joint the same size as surrounding tiles.

Mark you need to leave the same gap/grout line the same size as the rest of the mosaic ! usually 2-3mm, for expansion as was mentioned in the good advice from Cam-low

definately keep a joint or it wont look right when grouted imo
