Nice spacing. Very good mitres. All tiles look lovely and flat and clean. No messy grouting. You should be very proud of yourself Kate. Now take down that wooden shelf in the shower!!!!

It was MASSIVE FUN especially cutting aout around power points. I totally love tiling and can't wait to do some more.you are happy with the work?
The important thing is that you are happy.
Cheek! That's travertine I'll have you know! The nice man cut a tile diagonally for me and the corner (no gunk) so I have two shelves. No metal shower shampoo shelf (and drilling into my nice tiles) for me!!!!I thought it was stone!
Thank you Sean - you sound like a wonderful person (who gives me praise which I enjoy). xxxxxNice spacing. Very good mitres. All tiles look lovely and flat and clean. No messy grouting. You should be very proud of yourself Kate. Now take down that wooden shelf in the shower!!!!

I suspect Mr Fish is a proper tiler who does it properly and doesn't use ready mix adhesive.....xxMr fish, there is not anymore.

I did think about using teak as its doesn't get mouldy or making a tile sandwich (two stuck together) but this should be OK. Will get stained a bit with use I guess.Hey! I defended you from accusations of WOOD!
Travertine is stone.
I think that's it for tiling for me for a while. Tiling was the higlight of my project to be sure. You guys are in a great profession. xxWell done! It's a good diy job and you deserve credit. You deserve more credit for the contemporary way you have used different tiles, textures, patterns, colours etc to end up with an artistic use of tiles exclusive to yourself, which may not be everyone's cup of tea but what a boring world this would be if we all liked and had the same. I do like your enthusiasm and hope that you keep tiling and posting your latest projects!
