My wifes auntie also had a boxer called Murphy, hated that mutt, it broke my nose, it jumped as I bent over to pick up a toy for it:incazzato: blood everywhere. Good looking creatures but my god their thick. If you haven't guessed I'm a cat man.

lovely dogs, my favorite breed..

we had an english bull terrier for 18 years but i love boxers.

boxers are lovely looking dogs I think, how old was he when you got him Sean? I'm going for a wire haired pointer for my next dog,(when kids have grown a bit). My sister-in-law has a great dane/rhodesian ridgeback X, to state the obvious, it's an animal!!

A couple of my mates have Ridgeback's they are beautiful and quite timid despite what they are sometimes claimed to be bred for, what the hell a Great Dane/Rhodesian Ridgeback looks like I can only imagine surely all the doors in their house had to be made bigger

The dog broke your nose and your calling it a thick breed?
Had 4 boxers during the last 22 years, Sally, Ben, Micky and Barney all from boxer rescue, kept them till they passed away and loved every minute with them. I will get another before the years out.
I will have to scan some pictures and load them up, they are very loyal and protective dogs, great around children but can be extremely nosy and boisterous, certainly not thick.

:mad2:
