I not actually bothered about a funeral at all. Once I go I am quite happy for the mrs to chuck me in the wheelie bin and let the council sort me out.

I only ever thought of one and there is absolutely no doubt - this must have been written for me... the music of my soul... the way of the rivers and the merging of the two, passing all sorts of scenes on the way... what better music to show a rich life...

I would like the Judy Collins version of Amazing Grace. If I am cremated, I havn't made my mind up yet. I hope I have a long while left to decide, but if I get planted then I want my headstone to read "see I told you I was poorly":yikes:

NO WAY will I get cremated, NO WAY... I want a forest funeral, buried underneath trees, they can feed of me, it is all possible and legal..yep, I'm fine with that..

But that is what I enjoyed (if that's the right phrase) at the recent funeral. Sad about death - but enjoyment about life. And she had enjoyed the last few years.

A good friend of mine died Feb this year. The funeral was the usual affair then onto the crematorium. When the hearse and mourners arrived there was a New Orleans marching jazz band to lead the procession. Brought a smile to everybody. :smilewinkgrin:

I've always liked that idea too. If you have a tree planted over you.....you feed the tree as you decompose...in a way you live forever...it's ultimate recycling.
